EAT considers claimant's bid for stigma damages in unfair dismissal case

We round up what caught Tribunal Watch's eye on Twitter in the week beginning 13 August 2012, including the Employment Appeal Tribunal decision in Ur-Rehman v Doncaster Jahia Mosque (Microsoft Word format, 90K) considering a claim for stigma damages, which are losses claimed on the basis that an individual has suffered financially as a result of the stigma of having brought a claim against a previous employer when looking for a new job, in the unusual context of unfair dismissal.
