Additional paternity leave and pay

The Government consults on its intention that employed fathers will be able to take up to 26 weeks additional paternity leave, some of which could be paid if the mother of the child has returned to work. This new provision will be able to be taken within the child's first year and in normal circumstances during the second six months of the child's life.
