Call for evidence on alternatives to travel

Close date: 31 May 2011

The Government seeks evidence from employers on their experiences of ways of working that do not require employees to travel to work (or to travel at peak times). It invites employers to submit evidence on alternatives to travel that they use (including home working, staggered hours, and video and telephone conferencing), why they use some alternatives to travel and not others, and the impact of using alternatives to travel. It also invites submissions from employers that do not use alternatives to travel. The evidence will inform the Government's development of a policy on alternatives to travel, to ensure that they play a key role in the future.
