Consultation on amendments to the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003

The Government consults on proposed amendments to the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003, including the removal of the requirement for employment agencies that introduce workers for permanent employment to undertake suitability checks such as identity, experience, training, qualifications and any authorisations required by law. It is proposed that the requirement for employment agencies to undertake suitability checks for workers introduced for temporary work would remain unchanged.
