Consultation on directors' remuneration reports
Close date: 26 September 2012
The Government consults on draft Regulations that set out the proposed content of directors' remuneration reports. The Government aims to increase transparency in pay reporting as part of a package of proposals that gives more power to shareholders to challenge excessive pay. The report will be made up of two parts: a policy report setting out the elements of a company's remuneration policy and key factors taken into account in setting the policy; and a report on how the policy was implemented in the previous financial year.
