Consultation on diversity succession planning for public boards and lowering the threshold for gender pay reporting in Scotland

The Government consults on the draft Equality Act 2010 (Specific Duties) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2016. The Regulations include the introduction of succession planning for board appointments to increase the diversity of boards of public bodies and changes to the threshold to publish gender pay reporting and equal pay statements for public bodies from 150 employees to 20 or more employees. The list of bodies that are required to publish gender pay information and equal pay statements are set out in the Equality Act 2010 (Specific Duties) (Scotland) Regulations 2010 (SI 2012/162).
