Consultation on enforcement of exploited workers' employment rights

The Government consults on proposals to improve the effectiveness of the enforcement of employment rights to protect workers from exploitation. Proposals include the introduction of a new offence of "aggravated breach of labour market legislation". The consultation explores how the new offence will fit in with the existing offence of refusing or wilfully neglecting to pay a worker the national minimum wage.
