Consultation on increasing the minimum annual leave entitlement for mobile staff in civil aviation

The Government consults on amending the Civil Aviation (Working Time) Regulations 2004 to give flight deck and cabin crew the same statutory minimum annual leave entitlement to which their ground-based colleagues are entitled under the Working Time Regulations 1998. The statutory minimum annual leave entitlement increased from four weeks to 4.8 weeks from 1 October 2007 and rises again to 5.6 weeks from 1 April 2009.
