Consultation on proposed amendment to the Civil Aviation (Working Time) Regulations 2004

The Government consults on proposed amendments to the Civil Aviation (Working Time) Regulations 2004 (SI 2004/756). The Regulations established an annual working time limit of 2,000 hours for aircrew, including time spent on standby duty. The Government proposes to harmonise the treatment of standby duty with its treatment under the Civil Aviation Authority's aviation safety guidance.
