Consultation on provision for multiple discrimination in the Equality Bill

The Government consults on its proposals for making provision for multiple discrimination in the Equality Bill. The proposals would enable multiple discrimination claims to be made in relation to direct discrimination only and combining no more than two of the following protected characteristics: age; disability; gender reassignment; race; religion or belief; sex; and sexual orientation.
