Consultation on reform of the Civil Service Compensation Scheme

The Government consults on its proposals to reform the Civil Service Compensation Scheme, as part of its programme of changes to public-sector exit payments. The consultation seeks views on: introducing a maximum cap of three weeks' pay for each year of service; setting a maximum salary of £80,000 for the calculation of the payment; limiting employer-funded pension top ups; and changing the terms of voluntary exit and voluntary redundancy schemes.
