Consultation on the future of the Agricultural Wages Board
Close date: 12 November 2012
The Government consults on proposals to abolish the Agricultural Wages Board and the agricultural minimum wage. One reason for the proposed abolition is that a separate employment regime for agricultural workers is no longer necessary. Agricultural workers will be brought within the legislation governing the national minimum wage and working time.
