Consultation on women on boards

Close date: 4 July 2014

The Scottish Government consults on the issue of gender imbalance on public boards, as women make up just over 35% of all board members on public boards. It seeks views on how mandatory quotas that ensure a minimum of 40% female representation on public boards should be introduced, and wishes to understand the issues that would arise from this step for those involved.
