Extending statutory holiday entitlement to cover bank holidays
Close date: 22 September 2006
The Government consults on whether statutory
holiday entitlement should be extended from four weeks to 5.6 weeks to reflect

suggested that the increase should be implemented in phases, beginning with an
extension to 24 days on 1 October 2007.
