Reasonable steps that a labour user should take to check that a labour provider is licensed

Close date: 8 September 2006

The Government consults on the reasonable steps that a labour user should take to check that a labour provider is licensed. If a labour user is prosecuted for dealing with an unlicensed labour provider, it is a defence for the labour user to prove that it took all reasonable steps to satisfy itself that the labour provider was licensed.
