Review of police injury benefits

The Government consults on modernising the injury awards system for the police. The proposals cover a range of scheme policy and design issues, such as the criteria for eligibility for an injury award and the structure of benefits for officers and their families. The review also examines proposed changes that are intended to help police authorities administer and monitor the injury benefits system more effectively.
