View the headlines of the latest XpertHR articles
using your news reader software, an online feed reader
or the live bookmarks facility in your internet browser.
How to start using feeds
XpertHR invites users to view the headlines and summaries of our latest articles by
accessing our feeds via news reader software or the live bookmarks facility in
the new generation of internet browsers.
XpertHRs feeds use a technology sometimes known as Really Simple Syndication (RSS), a format that enables the simple distribution of online content.
By using a news reader or an internet browser that can display RSS feeds,
you can browse the headlines of all the latest XpertHR items.
If you are using a news reader, you can view the summaries as well as the headlines.
Then you simply click into the item to be taken to the full version.
Most items on XpertHR are available only to subscribers,
so if you wish to read a full article we require you to log into the site,
if you are not already logged in.

How do I get a news reader or a browser that works with RSS?
To use an XpertHR feed you need to do one of the following:
Once you have installed a news reader, all you need to do is click on one
or more of the orange feed buttons
and links, listed in the Choose feeds section above, and follow the instructions on your RSS reader to access the feed.
One advantage of a dedicated news reader is that it will allow you to read the
summaries as well as the headlines of items in the feed before you decide
whether to read the full item.
Here are some examples of RSS news readers*:

Online feed readers
An online feed reader, such as Google Reader allows
you to view and organise your chosen feeds without having to install any software on your local machine.
It has the added advantage that you can view your feeds from any internet-connected computer.
Once you have set up your online feed reader account, all you need to do is click on one or more
of the orange feed buttons and links, listed in the Choose feeds section above, and follow the instructions on your online feed reader to access the feed.
Internet browsers with integrated news feed management
Internet Explorer 7 and Mozilla Firefox both offer integrated news feed management,
as do the latest versions of other browsers such as Safari and Opera.
If you are using Internet Explorer 7 or Mozilla Firefox, simply click on one or more
of the orange feed buttons
and links, listed in the Choose feeds section above, and you will be given options including the ability to save the feed to your live bookmarks.
