New guidance for global employers on bribery and training and development

The Guide for global employers, which provides an overview of the issues facing multinational employers, has been enhanced by the addition of two new sections on bribery and training and development.

Bribery explains the importance of having anti-bribery practices and procedures in place. The guide identifies the key issues that confront employers and the steps that they need to take when conducting business abroad to comply with anti-bribery legislation.

Training and development provides an overview of the issues relating to training and development for a multinational employer and the methods of training available, including the extent to which employers can standardise training across their overseas operations.

These sections complement the existing sections in the "Guide for global employers", including Employee rights, Establishing a global presence and Health and safety.
