Northern Ireland: Section 15 of, and sch.3 to, the Employment Act (Northern Ireland) 2011 insert provisions into the Employment Rights (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 (SI 1996/1919) (NI 16) to give qualifying employees the right to make a request in relation to study or training to their employer and have their request considered. However, these provisions have not yet been commenced.
