7.1
- The relevant law in the UK governing industrial relations
and collective rights comprises a mix of the common law and statute, most
notably the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 and the
Employment Relations Act 1999. (See 7.3 The Trade Union and Labour Relations

- Under UK labour law most of the rights afforded to
trade unions are restricted to independent trade unions.
