  • Employees who are injured or made ill at work may be entitled to sue their employer for compensation in the civil courts, claim benefits under the state social security system and receive treatment from the National Health Service. (See 8.862 Claims by employees)
  • If an employer injures someone other than one of its employees, the victim may be entitled to sue it for compensation in the civil courts, claim benefits under the state social security system and receive treatment from the National Health Service.
