Are the 10 keeping-in-touch days during maternity and adoption leave pro-rated for part-time employees?

No. The 10 keeping-in-touch days for new parents are not pro-rated for part-time employees. For example, an employee who normally works only a three-day week is still entitled to 10 keeping-in-touch days.

The position is the same for the 20 "shared-parental-leave-in-touch" (SPLIT) days available to employees on shared parental leave. Each employee who takes shared parental leave can take up to 20 SPLIT days in addition to any keeping-in-touch days he or she takes during maternity or adoption leave, and these are not pro-rated for part-time employees.
