When consulting during a collective redundancy process, which communication processes should be used?
A variety of communication processes may be used throughout the consultation process. Face-to-face and written communications including email, the intranet, fliers and posters can be used. In the early stages of the process, company-wide meetings led by senior management may be appropriate. Later in the process, more interactive meetings will be required, involving indirect consultation with the workforce through their trade union or employee representatives.
