Will an employee be entitled to paternity leave if the child is stillborn?

Where an employee's child is stillborn in the first 24 weeks of pregnancy, he or she will not qualify for paternity leave. If the stillbirth occurs after the 24th week of pregnancy, or the child is born alive at any time but lives only for a short time, the employee will still qualify for paternity leave if he or she would otherwise have been eligible to take it.
