How to comply with the law on 'posted' workers

  • If sending workers on assignments to other European Union member states (for periods of up to one year), ensure that those 'posted' workers enjoy terms and conditions at least equal to those applicable to nationals or 'home-grown' workers in those other member states.

  • Ensure that all workers who are assigned for a limited period to carry out their work in the territory of an EU member state other than the state in which they normally work are treated according to the law on posted workers.
