How to employ young people and children

  • Do not employee a child under the age of 14 as this is against the law.
  • Ensure that no child under 16 is permitted to work during school hours on a school day, before 7 am or after 7 pm on any day, for more than two hours on any school day or Sunday, or for more than one hour before school.
