Note: Young Workers 2017: The expected impact of the apprenticeship levy on recruitment of young workers in apprentice roles. For the purposes of this survey, young workers are defined as those aged between 16 and 24, excluding graduates. The apprenticeship levy will come into force on 6 April 2017. UK employers with a paybill of more than £3 million will be liable to pay the levy, which will be set at 0.5% of paybill. This XpertHR survey was conducted in November 2016.
