    In Leeds Rhinos Rugby Club and others v Sterling, the EAT holds that an employment tribunal, which found that a rugby player suffered race discrimination when he was temporarily excluded from the rugby club's first team squad, erred in law in making a "recommendation" under the Race Relations Act 1976 that he should be given a contract of employment for a further season.
