In Poontah v (1) Britannia and Project Design Ltd and (2) Lewis a Thornaby on Tees employment tribunal (Chair: J R Barton) awards compensation of £33,000 including £8,000 for injury to feelings and £3,000 for aggravated damages to an engineer who was the victim of "appalling" race discrimination whereby he was "humiliated, intimidated and degraded".
