In Shomer v B & R Residential Lettings Ltd (8 April 1992) EOR44A, the Court of Appeal says that it is open to a tribunal to draw an inference that a woman has been discriminated against because of her pregnancy even if there is no direct evidence that a man in comparable circumstances would have been treated differently.
