In Tansell v Abbey Life Assurance Co Ltd and others a Southampton employment tribunal (Chair: N Adlem) has held that a computer consultant who made his services available through a limited company fell within the definition of a "contract worker" in the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (DDA) and therefore was able to bring a discrimination complaint against an employment agency which had contracted with his company to supply his services to a third party.
