In Webb v EMO Air Cargo (UK) Ltd (20 December 1991) EOR42A, the Court of Appeal rules that unfavourable treatment of a woman for a reason arising out of her pregnancy does not contravene the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 unless a man in comparable circumstances would have been treated differently.
