The importance of a recent Court of Appeal decision on the confidentiality of information held by occupational health departments has been clarified in a new commentary on the case.

The Court of Appeal (CA) decision in Hartman v South Essex Mental Health and Community Care Trust (OHR 114, pp.12 and 27) considered the foreseeability of psychiatric injury related to work-related stress.
