In Deadman v Bristol City Council  EWCA Civ 822 CA, the Court of Appeal has held that an employer was not liable for personal injury caused to an employee by its failure to deal correctly with an allegation of harassment against him.
Allegations of sexual harassment were made against Mr Deadman, who was in robust health and had an unblemished record of 30 years' employment at Bristol City Council.
