In Harrods Ltd v Remick and others (17 May 1996) EOR71E, the EAT holds that staff employed by concessionaires at Harrods worked "for" Harrods so as to fall within s.7 of the Race Relations Act 1976, even though they also worked "for" their employer. The decision has important implications for employees of contractors.
