In Jagot v Benefits Agency a Nottingham employment tribunal (Chair: J Threlfell) rules that an employee who was racially abused by customers was not subjected to racial discrimination by her employer as it had done all it could do to prevent the abuse from happening.

Mrs Jagot, who is of Asian origin, is employed by the Benefits Agency as a customer services receptionist in Derby.
