In Forder v Southern Water Services Ltd a Southampton industrial tribunal (Chair: R J T Byrne) held that an employer failed to make reasonable adjustments when an employee with emphysema was required to move from a site where his work involved climbing a ladder only occasionally to a site where he would have to climb a ladder two or three times a day.
