In GAB Robins (UK) Ltd v Triggs EAT/0111/07, the Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT) has given guidance on the calculation of the compensatory award when an employee who has been off work sick is constructively dismissed.

Mrs Triggs, who worked as a secretary for GAB Robins (UK) Ltd, made complaints about her excessive workload and alleged that she had been subjected to bullying by Mr Baldock, a senior manager.
