An Ashford employment tribunal (Chair: V Cooney) in Lee v British Telecommunications plc awards compensation of £104,674, including £18,000 for injury to feelings and psychological damage, to a BT worker who suffered racial abuse and threats from his workmates over a three-year period.

Nathan Lee, who is of Chinese origin, was employed on the night shift from May 1995 until his employment terminated in May 1998.
