In Lee v DERA a Southampton employment tribunal (Chair: R H Trickey) finds that the injury to feelings suffered as a consequence of almost two years of sex discrimination were at the top end of the scale and awards compensation of £25,000.
Rosemary Lee was employed by the Defence Evaluation and Research Agency as director of its project management and consultancy group from 1 August 1996 until her employment was terminated on 30 September 1998, two years into her three-year fixed-term contract.
