In Hill v Faces Night-club a Nottingham employment tribunal (C J Goodchild) in one of the "worst cases it has come across" awards £8,000 for injury to feelings, including £3,000 aggravated damages to a woman whose "character was assassinated" after she refused her manager's sexual advances.

Ms Hill was employed as a barmaid at a Nottingham night club.
