A young female employee was discriminated against on the grounds of sex when she was subjected to persistent harassment by her co-workers, holds a Stratford employment tribunal (Chair: B A Lang) in Capozzoli v Group 4 Total Security Ltd. Her employer failed to take steps to resolve the problem, resorting instead to treating as a disciplinary issue her absence from work due to stress caused by the harassment and asking her to move to a different site, which would have left her less well off.
