A delivery van driver refused entry to a Ministry of Defence establishment because he was Irish was not a contract worker and therefore could not claim race discrimination, holds a Reading industrial tribunal (Chair: J W T Walters) in Doogan v Ministry of Defence. There was no contract between the Ministry and the delivery firm for the supply of workers to work on the Ministry's premises.
