An employee whose sex discrimination complaint was dismissed by an employment tribunal after she withdrew her application was estopped from subsequently bringing breach of contract or negligence proceedings in the county court based on the same allegations as those which founded the tribunal proceedings, holds the Court of Appeal in Lennon v Birmingham City Council [2001] IRLR 826.
