In Whitehead v Isle of Wight NHS Trust and others a Southampton employment tribunal (Chair: M J Davey) awards compensation of £37,500 for injury to feelings to a female paramedic who was subjected to sexual harassment and whose employer totally failed to deal with the problem. This is believed to be the largest award for injury to feelings ever made in a case of sex discrimination.
