A procedural defect in a redundancy dismissal can be cured by a full and proper re-hearing on appeal, holds the EAT in Lloyd v Taylor Woodrow Construction 1.7.99 EAT 1116/98. There is no distinction in principle in this respect between redundancy and any of the other potentially fair reasons for dismissal.
