In Greatorex v Greatorex 1999 G. No.CW950014, Crewe District Registry, 5 May 2000, Motor Insurers' Bureau and Pope, the High Court holds that a victim of self-inflicted injuries does not owe a duty of care to a third party not to cause him or her psychiatric injury.
