Clay v The Governors, English Martyrs School [1993] IT/52319/91 (0 other reports)

In Clay v The Governors, English Martyrs School a Leicester industrial tribunal (Chair: J H Bellis) rejects the argument that jobsharing among teachers is not in the educational interests of children and upholds a complaint that the refusal to allow a teacher to jobshare on her return from maternity leave was indirect sex discrimination.

Mrs Clay had been employed as an English teacher at the English Martyrs School since 1982.
