Unfair dismissal: 'Correct' approach to some other substantial reason for dismissal

In Willow Oak Developments Ltd t/a Windsor Recruitment v Silverwood and others [2006] IRLR 28, the EAT holds that the employment tribunal erred in holding that employees' dismissals for refusing to sign new contracts containing unreasonably wide restrictive covenants could not be "for some other substantial reason", thus depriving the employer of a defence.
