The dismissal of a cleaning supervisor who refused to apologise after an argument with the manager of the store where she worked was unfair. The employer, who was the cleaning contractor, had not given the employee a proper opportunity to tell her side of the story, nor indicated that a refusal to apologise could result in dismissal.
